I also checked the behaviour of Ubuntu 25. It uses the fuse3, but electron uses fuse 2. The new fuse3 is not compatible with fuse 2 and newer distros does not ship fuse 2 by default.

Honestly I don't know when will it solved because there is a closed issue in the electron electron/electron#44131 that references to chromium https://issues.chromium.org/issues/410878548 that referencing back to electron :(

Currently, fuse2 manual install is the solution/workaround.

I am affected too.

I guess that it is not frequently reported because all appimages are affected, so by the time they try to run Agent, they know what to do about it and not to blame UHK.

Or maybe it is worked around in default environment 🤷

sudo apt install libfuse2 on Ubuntu 25.10 at least seems to be smart enough to work with the Provides: libfuse2 on libfuse2t64 to know it should actually install libfuse2t64, which might explain the lack of bug reports.
